Radio Trent past and present

Technology, and the times, move on - and we aren't luddites! The days of an expensively-equipped city centre HQ full of studios, offices, a newsroom, and dozens of staff are long gone, and they'll never come back. And they don't need to: modern technology makes a lot of that redundant. That said, it would be nice to have a brand new City Centre base, but what really matters (and what always mattered) is how good the on-air team is, and whether enough local businesses support us.

All of us either live or work in the Greater Nottingham area and, of course, we all shop, drink, eat and club in Nottingham. However, we each have our own studio from where we present and/or record our shows - nice! Doing it this way keeps our costs down and is the reason we can afford to run the station without massive funds and still sound good. But like anyone else, we could easily spend a lot more dosh if we had it!
